Davie Paton

Davie Paton, is a police officer for Grampian police and we have been married for 14 years. Davie also likes to help out with the dog walking when he isnt at work & can often be seen walking dogs in Methlick.

Charlie Bruce

Charlie Bruce, or more often know as Caroline's Dad! Charlie is now supposedly retired but he likes to help Caroline out with some of the work load, he has been around animals all his life and has had quite alot of experience with large animals. Charlie is also a Show Jump course builder for his sins!

Meet the Team!

Animal Crackers has expanded quite a bit over the past few years so Caroline is often really busy and enlists the help of her husband Davie, and her dad Charlie.

Caroline Paton

I’m Caroline Paton, I live just outside the village of Methlick with my husband Davie, 2 dogs, 4 horses, 2 cats, 2 hens & 3 ducks oh and fish in the pond!

Up until 2005 I worked in the finance department of an oil company in Aberdeen but thought it was time for a change, I have always wanted to work full time with animals and did work in a busy livery yard for over 3 years when I was younger!

I have owned horses for over 25 years and currently have Fred (Keiloch) an Arab cross Bavarian which I bred, backed and have schooled myself and compete in affiliated showing, affiliated dressage and unaffiliated show jumping. I also own 2 miniature Shetlands Fizz who was born here at Logie and Cinny and a 2yo Hanoverian filly called Enya (Sienna FB) (more info on my own horses & dogs can be found on My Pets Page).

I have had dogs around me since I was 1 year old! And now own 2 Cocker Spaniels - Oddie who we bred and Mr Moss
